In an effort to improve technology use in the school the Marine Math and Science Academy has begun a Technology Certification program for its staff. The program has four levels. Each level contains between 3 to 7 hours of classes that you will be able to take online or in designated professional development within the school. The goal of the certification program is to improve technology integration in the classroom, establish the academy as the most advanced school in the city and build a larger web presence for students and staff. When you finish level IV you will be ready to create on your own web based audio and video classes that students can watch from anywhere in the world.
In order to register for the program you need to log into CPS University and enroll in the MMSA Technology Curricula Program. You need to complete each level before moving on to the next one. Once you complete each level you will have a new tool to use in your classroom. Study guides and helpful text will be provided here in the Wiki under each link below.
